Hard chrome, nickel plating and metal spraying, together with the surface technologies developed in the marine sector, enable DMI to present a comprehensive surface treatment package to the non-marine industry. These various treatments are applied in a wide variety of industrial sectors such as production machines, earth-moving machines, etc.
DMI also processes plastic injection moulds. For this application, hard chrome provides the benefits of reduced wear, controlled surface finish, and anti-stick characteristics to enable easy release of the product. Even the most complex shapes can be successfully treated at DMI.
